Rare Sterling Archaeological Revival Chain 18”
A substantial archaeological revival chain with hundreds of hand wrought links that create wonderful interlocked spheres of sterling, this gorgeous English chain has the most sensual feel to it. Drawing from both Roman Fibulae in construction, and the tradition of Etruscan jewelry that was being ravenously copied and revived in the mid 19th century, this chain is singular. Larger than usual, the links are 3-8mm in diameter, creating a certain heft within their lightness on the chain and a delicious graduation.
