*Hold for M* Amethyst & Diamond Circle Brooch 1860
*add purple ribbon* Gaze into this crystal orb— I wonder if she remembers moments past, or holds the glimpses of the future. Featuring rose-cut diamonds, black enamel, and a foiled amethyst cabochon, this brooch has chemistry and synergy. The foiled amethyst has some erosion to it, creating a singular look to the stone, almost like a fingerprint. No other stone will look exactly like this one, which makes this piece even more special. Additionally, there are two locks of hair intertwined on the reverse, one blonde and one brunette.
A great piece, this brooch backing is hallmarked “10k.” This fitting is a later American replacement, but the face and body are in solid 12k.
