Gorgeous Onyx and Pearl Victorian Geometric Conversion Earrings
These onyx conversion earrings are incredibly captivating. The dark rectangular onyx drops, motivated by the geometric style of the 1860’s, seem to defy light and serve as the perfect frame for the 10 pearls that adorn each earring. Clustered into a simplified oak leaf shape and flanked by two simplified scroll forms, the white pearls against the deep black onyx, create a superb contrast that my eyes simply cannot look away from. This simplified adornment is typical of the 1860’s geometric style which pulled from ornate architectural ornament and isolated the core shapes to achieve a cleaner look. If you’re a minimalist girlie who also has a knack for antiques, this pair of conversion earrings will undoubtably find a happy home in your jewelry box.
