Fantastic Silver Over Austro-Hungarian Medallion Brooch +
One of the most incredible Austro-Hungarian pieces we have ever had, this massive medallion features sizable emeralds, delicious garnets, black and white enamel, and filigree that is simply to die for. This shape is very prevalent in Austro-Hungarian jewelry; medallions were a prized motif in jewelry of the period and this example with its large, natural baroque pearl center is a show-stopping example. Above all, this piece really shines with those foiled natural emeralds and garnets. As with all of the Austro-Hungarian jewelry that we have recently acquired, we are certain that it will be gone in minutes. It is one of the most popular categories of jewelry that the Curio sells and we are really excited to send this jewel off to its next home!
