A notable Victorian 18ct Language of Flowers “forget me not” turquoise band ring. This ring is wonderfully hallmarked for 18ct, Chester, and due to a previous professional resize the hallmark date letter is missing. This ring is an effortless stacker with an extremely buttery band. Imbued with language of flowers, floriography that was extremely popular in the second half of the 19th century, the pansy and the forget-me-not were cardinal symbols of romantic interest and sisterly love among wearers of these precious sentimental pieces.
